“We encourage the unity of all Followers and believe this unity can be achieved when the love for Christ is greater than love for man-made traditions. We do not claim to be the only Followers, but strive to be Followers only.”

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you believe that God is Creator and Ruler of the universe?

Yes! We believe that God the Father, God the Son, and God the Spirit has always existed. We believe He created everything for His purpose. We believe the world was created in six days and God rested on the seventh. Although God never rests.

Do you believe that the entire Bible is from God?

Yes! The Bible was written by human authors, under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. We believe it is God-breathed and every word of the Bible is, as Paul says in 2 Timothy 3:16“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.”

Do you believe everyone should be baptized?

Yes! After a person has accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior, baptism is a way to publicly express our new life in Christ. We do this, also as a step of obedience, based on God’s commands. It allows us to follow the example of Jesus. Matthew 3:16-17 “16 As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting on him. 17 And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.”

Do you believe Jesus is God’s Son?

Yes! We believe Jesus coexisted with God in heaven before He was sent by the Father to earth to do God’s will. Jesus said He and the Father are One. We also believe what it says in John 3:16 that “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

We believe that Jesus is now existing back with the Father, waiting to return to earth and claim what rightfully belongs to Him.

Do you believe Jesus was resurrected?

Yes! If it were not so, there wouldn’t need to be a church service. Jesus died and was buried and on the third day rose from the grave and is now seated next to God the Father in heaven. His death and resurrection made a way for all those who believe to be with Him in heaven. John 14:6Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

Do you believe we are all children of God?

No! We believe we are all created by God, but unless one comes to faith in Jesus they do not have the right to be called children of God as it says in John 1:12-13“12 Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— 13 children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.”

Please let us know if you have any other questions that were not answered here. It’s our goal to engage with everyone’s questions with Biblical truth. It’s a “The Truth” in which we, as a church, stand on, as our foundation.
